Marian Easler

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Marian is originally from Kingstree, South Carolina. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Columbia College in 2017 and a Master of Speech Pathology degree from the University of South Carolina in 2020. Marian has multiple years of experience serving autistic individuals, both in the clinic setting and through recreational programs. Additionally, she has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, daycares, natural environments, outpatient clinics, and skilled nursing facilities. Marian has a passion for serving patients across the lifespan, valuing each individual and their needs. She has served individuals with the following diagnoses: suspected Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Down Syndrome, Fragile-X Syndrome, Expressive Language Disorder, Receptive Language Disorder, Developmental Delay, Fluency Disorder, Hearing Loss, Gestalt Language Processors, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorder, Phonological Disorder, Articulation Disorder, Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury, Aphasia, and Parkinson’s Disease.

Marian is passionate about using a patient-led approach to build functional, meaningful goals. She enjoys building rapport with patients and their caregivers, creating a trusting environment. Marian is licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina and holds credentials through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Marian currently lives in Durham, Go Bulls! She enjoys going to concerts, thrifting, kayaking, and spending time in the mountains.
