Meredith Ange

Speech-Language Pathologist

Meredith graduated from North Carolina State University with an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and received a Master of Education degree in Communication Disorders from North Carolina Central University.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, Meredith has had the privilege of working with pediatrics in a variety of settings including birth to age 3 in natural environments, preschools, primary and elementary schools, along with outpatient clinics in North Carolina, Virginia, California, and Kentucky. She has positively impacted the lives of children while treating a wide range of disorders and diagnoses including articulation delays/disorders, receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, neurological/developmental disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, cleft palate, traumatic brain injury, voice, fluency, autism, auditory processing, selective mutism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, arthrogryposis, and pragmatic skills. While in Kentucky, Meredith was honored to serve as the Director of Special Education in our nation’s largest Christian School System.

In each of her roles, Meredith has gained valuable knowledge and experience to offer individualized therapy specific to each child’s need. With her love for literacy-based therapy and her advocacy for early intervention, Meredith’s joy can be found when each child realizes his/her own progress – look what YOU just did! She has a passion for making a difference in the world of Communication Disorders and enjoys sharing educational advice with families. Utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach that combines speech, occupational, and physical therapy along with family involvement has proved to have tons of power when helping her clients reach their goals.

As an Eastern North Carolina native, Meredith is excited to be back in her home state helping children and their families achieve their next milestones here at Benefit Therapy Services!

Meredith holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as maintains an active and current license in the states of North Carolina and California. Meredith and her husband are delighted parents to both a son and a daughter. When she is not wearing her Speech Hat, Meredith enjoys spending time with her family and friends, serving in her local church, diving into mystery books, and exploring new beaches.
