Kirstyn Schor

Occupational Therapist

Kirstyn is a Raleigh native. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University. While attending ASU, she worked with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. She then attended Winston-Salem State University, where she received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. During her time at Winston-Salem, she gained valuable experience treating both adults and children in outpatient clinics, school systems, and hospitals in the Acute Care setting and outpatient upper extremity setting.

While in these settings, she provided therapy to clients with a variety of diagnoses and disorders such as: autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, developmental delay, learning disabilities, Down syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, stroke, dementia, and orthopedic conditions.

Fun fact: Kirstyn has an older sister who is deaf, so she learned American Sign Language at an early age! Kirstyn recently relocated to Holly-Springs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, exercising, reading, and experimenting with new recipes!
