
Kate Vandrew, MS, CCC-SLP/L
Speech-Language Pathologist
Kate is a national certified and state licensed speech pathologist who has spent the last few years living in Wilmington, NC before moving to be closer to family. Originally from Pennsylvania, Kate obtained her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from East Tennessee State University.
During her career Kate has developed a special interest in autism, feeding difficulties, speech sound disorders and gestalt language processing. She has a passion for continuing to learn and further her education in various topics pertaining to the world of speech language pathology. Kate believes in taking a child-lead, play based therapy approach and incorporating neurodiversity affirming practices. She believes the families and caregivers bring important input and collaboration into the therapy process and loves to have them involved.
In her free time, Kate enjoys trying new coffee shops, reading and spending time outdoors.
