Speech-Language Pathologist

Haley is an energetic and dedicated pediatric speech-language pathologist who believes in using an inclusive and dynamic approach with her patients. She recognizes the vital role a child’s family and/or caregivers play during the therapy journey and strives to provide simple and effective techniques easily used within daily life.
She is a North Carolina native from the Charlotte area and received both her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders (2011) and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (2013) from Appalachian State University. Haley holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is licensed by the Board of North Carolina for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
She is Hanen certified in It Takes Two to Talk® – The Hanen Program® For Parents of Children with Language Delays and More Than Words® – The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Social Communication Difficulties. These programs empower families, caregivers, and professionals to transform how they interact with young children to increase communication skills and improve quality of life.
Outside of the office, Haley enjoys her Peloton, being in nature, and drawing. She loves spending time with her husband, daughter, four fur babies and friends. She also loves going to the NC mountains where you can often find her at an App State football game. Go Mountaineers!
