Erika Elsinger
Speech-Language Pathologist
Erika is originally from Queens, New York. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Queens College, and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has over ten years of experience working with the pediatric population. Erika has special interests in autism, gestalt language processing, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), childhood apraxia of speech, and speech sound disorders.
Erika believes in taking a neurodiversity affirming approach in her therapy sessions. She prioritizes establishing trust and building connections with the children she sees as she aims to help them reach their full potential.
When Erika is not working, she enjoys running, watching soccer, and spending time with her family.
