SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Ellie recently moved to the triangle area from Birmingham, Alabama. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, both from The University of Alabama. She has experience working in outpatient clinics, public schools, and adult hospital settings. Ellie enjoys working with patients of all ages and has worked with individuals with the following diagnoses during her graduate education: Articulation Disorder, Phonological Disorder, Developmental Delay, Autism, Fluency Disorder, Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders, Aphasia, Apraxia of Speech, Dysphagia, Dysarthria, Cognitive-Communication Disorder, Dementia, and Parkinson’s Disease. She has special interests in speech sound disorders, language disorders, aphasia, and cognitive-communication disorders. When not in the office, Ellie is pretty much attached at the hip to her dog, Dixie! She enjoys going on long walks and spending time in nature, reading, watching movies, cooking, and trying new restaurants!
