PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Deiondria (Dee) is a pediatric physical therapist with a passion for helping her patients reach their full potential. Originally from Thomasville, Alabama, Dee earned her undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from Alabama State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

After relocating to the Triangle area, Dee gained valuable experience treating pelvic floor dysfunctions before working in pediatrics. She has experience working in schools, homes, and daycares, treating a wide range of conditions including cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, developmental delays, traumatic brain injury, spina bifida, and rare genetic disorders. Additionally, Dee has experience working with adults in acute care settings, treating patients with conditions such as strokes, fractures, deconditioning, COPD, CHF, dementia and after orthopedic surgeries.

Dee’s holistic approach to therapy emphasizes collaboration between interdisciplinary teams, patients, and their families. By working together, she helps patients achieve their goals and reach their highest level of function.

Outside of work, Dee enjoys baking, staying active, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her dog, Remy.
