Alex comes from Minneapolis, MN. Now residing in Raleigh, NC, Alex is following her passion for helping children and families build the skills they need to thrive in their daily lives.She received her associate degree in occupational therapy from Herzing University and practiced for a few years before attending graduate school at Ithaca College in New York to earn her master’s degree in occupational therapy. Throughout her education and background, Alex has experience supporting children with Autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, Fragile X, sensory, and social-emotional needs. She has also worked as a preschool teacher and loves working with the preschool age. Alex values a family-centered, neurodiversity-affirming approach that emphasizes individuality, play, and meaningful occupations.While outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys staying active and exploring all of the good food spots Raleigh has to offer. Fun fact: Alex comes from a family of over 100 cousins!
