OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Sydney is a licensed Occupational Therapist who is a native of Holly Springs, NC. Sydney is following her passion for helping others to build the skills they need in their daily lives. She graduated from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise with a B.S in Psychology. She is also an alumna of UVA-Wise’s Division II Softball team. Following undergrad, she attended Lenoir-Rhyne University, where she received her master’s degree in occupational therapy. During her time at LR, she gained valuable experience working with both adults and children in the Outpatient and Acute Care setting.
In these settings, she provided client-centered, evidence-based interventions to individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cognitive, and developmental diagnoses. She is passionate about promoting independence through meaningful, functional activities to support children with developmental, sensory, and social-emotional needs.
In her free time, Sydney enjoys being with her pets, exercising, reading, and soaking up the sunshine!
