
Kiran Patel OTD/OTR/L
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Kiran Patel is a dedicated Occupational Therapist who provides family-centered, individualized care to help children and families thrive. She earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Cedar Crest College in 2024 after completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Kiran has clinical experience in outpatient pediatrics, early intervention, schools, and rehabilitation settings. During her rotation with Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania, she supported children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing needs, and developmental delays. She has also worked with youth through the Autism Cares Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, focusing on social skills, fine motor development, and self-regulation.
Kiran has experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, Spina Bifida, and Down syndrome. She uses play-based, activity-focused approaches to build independence and confidence, and values strong collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams. She stays current with best practices through conferences hosted by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Outside of work, Kiran enjoys baking eggless desserts, hiking, and exploring her new home state of North Carolina.
