Elizabeth Fegert

Speech Pathologist

Elizabeth is a Speech and Language Pathologist. She holds a license in the state of North Carolina as well as her Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCC) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Elizabeth graduated with her degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University (ECU) in May 2013. She received her Masters in Speech Language Pathology in May of 2015 also from East Carolina University. Elizabeth is a pirate through and through!! Elizabeth has spent her time as an SLP serving patients with a large variety of diagnosis. She has experience with Speech Sound Disorders, Language Disorders, Fluency, Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing, Alternative and Augmentative Communication Devices, Orofacial Myology, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Social-Pragmatic Communication Disorders and Auditory Verbal Therapy. Elizabeth feels that continued education is vital to being a successful therapist and completes many continuing education courses throughout the year, having received multiple ACE Awards from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.

Elizabeth is passionate about involving parents in therapy. She strongly believes that progress does not only happen in the therapy room, progress happens in all settings including the home.

Elizabeth is a North Carolina native. She is one of the few remaining who were born and raised in Fuquay and have stayed to raise their own family! Elizabeth lives at home with her husband, Drew and her two small children, Ellie and Carl Reid. During her free time she loves to play with her children, travel, read and serve in the local community. Elizabeth is active in her church as well as the Fuquay Varina Junior Woman’s Club. If you see her around town she is likely participating in a church activity, chasing after her children or planning the annual charity ball!
