Molly Kinton, M.Ed CCC-SLP
Molly is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist from Lumberton, NC. Molly graduated from North Carolina State University with an undergraduate degree in Public and Interpersonal Communication. She received a Masters of Education in Communication Disorders from North Carolina Central University. Throughout her career she has had clinical experience in a variety of settings including private practice, preschools, home-based therapy, skilled nursing facilities and hospitals providing assessment and treatment to children as well as adults. Molly has experience working with a variety of diagnosis including: articulation/phonology disorders, autism, aphasia, apraxia, cognitive-linguistic dysfunction, dementia, dysphagia, oral-motor dysfunction, Parkinson’s Disease and traumatic brain injury.
Molly believes that early intervention is essential for development of age appropriate communication, social and academic skills in children. She enjoys working closely with clients and their families to facilitate improved social interactions and communication as well as to promote carryover and generalization of learned skills across all environments.
Molly lives in Fuquay Varina with her husband, Kyle. They have a 2 year old daughter, Mary Frances. They enjoy spending time outdoors and weekends at the beach.
